Regular deadline to register your entry is January 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Late deadline ($50 late fee required) to register your entry is January 19, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Final deadline to submit ALL entry materials is January 29, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Fees
$150 per standard entry

$125 per special entry

Entry Process
There are two steps in the entry process.

The first step is registration where you will select your project categories and pay for your entries.

The second step is where you submit project information and supporting materials, including the items below.

• Architect of record
• Builder
• Landscape architect (if applicable)
• Other key trades
• Project description (your narrative should be 500 words or less; include design objectives, challenges, and any green features. Do not list any firm/company names in the description)
  • Project name
  • Project location (city, state)
  • Project completion date
  • Total square footage
  • Total site size in acres (ie: .5 acres)
  • Total cost per square foot
• Project floorplans, site plan, plus any other relevant drawings/diagrams
• Project photos (maximum of 20 photos)
• Photographer release form
• Entrant/Co-Entrant release form
• Products and materials specified (this information will be requested for winning entries only)

Note: To receive an award, all winning entries must complete a detailed products specification form prior to the print publication deadline.

Anonymity
The competition is a blind judging. No firm names or names of any participating professionals may be listed on any of the supporting project materials, except where specifically requested. All uploaded files, including photography, plans, drawings, and project description should employ the project name but no other identifying information.  

Standards for Visual Materials
Residential Design requires professional, print-ready, high-resolution photography and print-quality presentation floor plans and site plan. (High-resolution jpeg files only, with maximum pixel dimensions of 2400 x 3000) 

Publishing Rights
All materials submitted to the 2024 Residential Design Architecture Awards become the property of SOLA Group, Inc. SOLA Group retains the right to consider all non-winning entries for future publication in Residential Design, but entrants will be notified and permission sought beforehand. Keep your own copy of all entry materials for your records. 

Awards and Recognition
All winning projects will be published in the print and digital editions of Residential Design magazine and on RD’s website.

All entries will be judged by an independent jury of architects selected for geographic and aesthetic diversity.
